Born in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, and holds a Master’s degree in Education from the Graduate School for International Development and Cooperation at Hiroshima University.
After serving as a JICA Associate Expert, a Project Formulation Advisor at the JICA Rwanda Office, a Project Expert at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, a Program Officer at JICA’s Human Development Department, a Researcher at Kyoto University, a Research Officer at the JICA Ogata Sadako Research Institute for Peace and Development, and a Project Expert at Vietnam-Japan University, he assumed his current position in May 2025.
