Nakai Yozaburo, among others, are permitted to hunt sea lions on Takeshima

Hunting sea lions became an operation requiring licensing, in accordance with the Revised Fisheries Control Regulations of April 14 of 1905. On 20 May, Nakai Yozaburo, Kato Shigezo, Iguchi Ryuta and Hashioka Tomojiro submitted applications for the license required to hunt sea lions on Takeshima with the Shimane Prefectural Government. (Ref.1) Shimane Prefecture permitted these applications on June 5, 1905 and issued the group one license. (Ref.2)
