Dr. Tomoko Nagasako is a Researcher at Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA). Prior to joining IPA in 2023, she was a Research Fellow at the Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF) from 2019. She received a PhD in Informatics from Institute of Information Security in 2023. She holds a MA in informatics from Institute of Information Security, and a MA in literature and a BA in literature from the University of Tokyo. She specializes in cyber security, information warfare, influence operation and disinformation. Her recent works include "The Geopolitics of Information Warfare: Decoding Russia’s Disinformation Strategy #1-#2" (WORLD INSIGHT, (March, 2023)) and “Global Disinformation Campaigns and Legal Challenges” (International Cyber Security Law Review, Vol.1, pp.125–136, Springer. (October, 2020)).
