Middle East and foreign policy
Akira Mizuguchi is Professor at Faculty of International Studies, Keiai University, in Chiba, Japan, where he specializes in area studies of the Middle East and foreign policy . Prior to teaching Keiai University, he was the senior research fellow and the editor-in-chief of Journal of Middle Eastern Studies at the Middle East Institute of Japan for a quarter century. He has published in different journal and books, on international relations, social changes and political sociology of the Middle East. He is also Refugee Examination Counselor of the Ministry of Justice, Japan from 2018.
