“Japan’s Strategic Horizon and Japan-U.S. Relations”

In October 2009, the Sasakawa Peace Foundation launched a new project titled “Japan’s Strategic Horizon and Japan-US Relations”. Its overall goals are twofold. First, the Project aims to deliver a proposal for a Japanese national security strategy that will encompass Japanese security and foreign policies spanning for the next 15-20 years. Secondly, the Project also aspires to promote exchange and expand networks among Japanese and foreign academics/policy experts. To achieve these goals, the Project shall pursue the following objectives and methods.
