International Seminar "What is to be done towards development of natural resources on the continental shelf for the future"

2012.04.05
OPRF implements the project on "Research for Issues concerning the Extended Continental Shelf."
This year we would like to consider the extended continental shelf (the ECS) and its natural resources towards the development. We therefore will hold the International Seminar. The seminar is composed of two sessions. The presentation in the first session is to overview the legal framework for the ECS towards exploring it and exploiting its resources, and provide some perspective for regulating its usage. The second session is to focus the more practical and technical aspects of the development of natural resources in the case of Malaysia and Japan. We look forward to your attendance.
