The Japan-U.S.-Taiwan Security Research project, which began in April 2022 and continued for two years thanks to the knowledge of 11 experts and practitioners, successfully concluded with the compilation of our research results into a book, which is scheduled for publication in 2024. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of this project for their cooperation and extend our gratitude to the visitors to this website.
We have decided to archive the records accumulated over these two years as well as the articles written by our members for future reference. We hope these resources will be of use.
About
Project Outline
For the sake of the peace and stability of the Taiwan region, which shares Japan’s values of freedom and democracy, security-related think tanks from Japan, the United States, and Taiwan will collaborate to promote information sharing. In addition, in anticipation of rising tensions in the Taiwan region, we aim to collaboratively study and make recommendations on comprehensive security-related policies to maintain peace and stability in the region without climbing the escalation ladder.
