The Sasakawa Peace Foundation has invited Dr. Saeed Jalili in his capacity as Chief Negotiator and Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council to speak on nuclear energy use in Iran. Formerly Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs and an advisor to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Dr. Jalili is Iran's foremost authority on nuclear energy use. During his visit to Japan, Dr. Jalili will shed light on the current status of nuclear energy use in Iran and provide details of major issues confronting the nation.

As global interest in Iran's use of nuclear energy continues to rise, this lecture provides an excellent opportunity to hear in person the views of a key protagonist.
