専門分野
これまでの職務を通じ、一貫して多分野にまたがる学際的研究に携わってきた。
PhD取得における専門分野はグローバル環境マネジメントに関する研究であるが、この研究において、国際NGOが気候変動、食料安全保障、持続可能な開発、地球温暖化といった、世界的な問題にどのように対処するかを研究・分析してきた。
この研究を更に深めるため、コンサベーション・インターナショナル、WWF、カリブ共同体において業務に従事するとともに、その傍ら、国連大学が後援するSatoyamaイニシアティブ国際パートナーシップに携わってきた。
Society of Ethnobiology、International Society of Ethnobiology (ISE)、日本水産学会 (JSFS)、Fish Veterinary Society (FVS)、World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association (WAVMA)、世界小動物獣医協会 (WSAVA)、Guyana Veterinary Association (GVA)の会員である。
