A Research Project“Islam and Diversification of Values - with a gender approach”

To promote a better understanding of the religion, culture, society, politics and economy in the Middle East and North African region, the researchers of multiple disciplines such as anthropology, Islamic legal studies, international politics, socio-economics and bioethics, etc. meet together to share and discuss a wide range of issues arising from their work. The research group is mindful of examining those issues especially from a gender point of view. This project intends to conduct not only dynamic, pragmatic research, but also within a present global context.
