Project contents
Financial assistance was given in support of a program conducted by CODE to improve the literacy rate in Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands. The establishment of a local advisory committee comprising representatives of education-related groups, government agencies and research institutions in the subject countries was studied, and information was gathered on literacy problems in these countries.
