The aim of this project is to raise the capacity of human resources working on economic survey analysis through development of quarterly economic indicators and econometric models. To this end, surveys and research have been carried out over the past two years under the guidance of experts from Japan and various ASEAN countries and with the cooperation of the Lao Ministry of Planning and Investment, National Statistical Office, Ministry of Finance, and the Central Bank.
In the final project year, the results garnered to date will be further refined, and PR activities will be carried out for practical application of the results.
