Project Outline
The Sasakawa Peace Foundation started people-to-people exchange programs with the Middle Eastern region in 2009 and has since enhanced networks and relationships of trust between the people of Japan and Middle Eastern countries, including Iran. Through various approaches including exchanges between young leaders and academics, this project aims to contribute to mutual understanding and promote multifaceted human exchange between Japan and Middle Eastern countries, while searching for Japan’s role in securing peace and stability in the region.
