Enhancing India-Japan Relations: Visit to Japan by Indian Parliamentarians 9,375,000 yen [Grant Project] Confederation of Indian Industry (CII/India) In this project, a total of four (two at a time) Indian parliamentarians will be invited to Japan twice a year, with main constituents being young members of the Parliament, regardless of whether the upper or lower house, who will be selected on a supra-partisan basis. The project has multiple objectives. First, it aims to offer forum of discussion for multitudes of communities including political, administrative, business and otherwise. Second, it seeks to explore areas where mutual cooperation is possible. Finally, it aims to contribute to forming a network linking Japanese and Indian legislative, political, administrative and business leaders. Furthermore, public relations of this project and maintenance of the network built amongst the participants will be continuously pursued throughout the year. The following activities are planned this year.
