Strengthening the Financial Sustainability of the Non-profit Sector Through Debt Swap for Education in the Countries of MERCOSUR
9,000,000 yen [Grant Project]
SES Foundation (Argentina)
SPF has identified the strengthening of the financial status of non-profit organizations as one of its focus areas, and has been supporting CSRO and debt swap projects. The results of past projects show that the utilization of debt swap opportunities and their profits for management and fund raising could possibly contribute to improvements in the financial status of non-profit organizations.
@The project aims to evaluate whether debt swap projects can contribute to strengthening the financial status of non-profit organizations by analyzing the conditions and factors for successful debt swap projects, monitoring methods for financial management after successful negotiations, and by developing bases for sustainable management of related projects.
Although the project mainly targets MERCOSUR nations (South America Common Market), the participation of Asian countries is also planned.
