gGet Across the Voices of Asiah Program/Phase III

Since 2000, SPF has been disseminating intellectual information from Asia by conducting a gGet Across the Voices of Asiah program in order to promote correct recognition of Asia and the formation of favorable opinions toward Asia in international society. Phase II of the gGet Across the Voices of Asiah project plans to disseminate a variety of information from Asia in a timely fashion through various media including publication, translation, electric files, and footage such as the preparation and broadcasting of interview programs with Asian political and social leaders The present program is a follow-up of the past This year, the following activities as well as the publication and preparation of video footage are planned.
  1. Preparation and Broadcasting of an interview program, hTHE LEADERSh.
    Six to eight short interview programs, each about 30 minutes in length, will be prepared with the cooperation of gAsianViewsh, and broadcast by a streaming method on the web as well as on TV.

  2. gAsian Voicesh Seminar (Washington and Brussels)
    SPF will send speakers from Asia to an gAsian Voicesh seminar, which will be held in Washington DC about 10 times per year. SPF-USA will be entrusted with the operation to send speakers to the USA. Summaries of the seminars will be released on the websites of Inter Press Service and AsianViews, and in AsianViewsf monthly magazines. SPF will also send speakers from Asia to the European Policy Center, and operations including detachment, seminar management, compilation of minutes and dissemination will be entrusted. The seminars will be held about 6 times a year.
