Civil Society Legitimacy, Transparency and Accountability

The following activities are scheduled for this year:
  1. Completion of current analysis report (April to Sep. 2005):
    The report will be composed of the following content:
    1. Clarification of background/value of striving for NPO legitimacy and analysis of relevant social and political circumstances.
    2. Clarification of points at issue and analysis of issues in striving for NPO legitimacy
    3. Clarification of main issues related to current initiatives (code of conduct, evaluation methods, etc.) aimed at increasing NPO accountability and transparency
    4. Guidance (April 2005 to March 2006): The project will select three or four meetings held around the word and provide a forum for discussing NPO legitimacy/related issues with the cooperation of the meeting organizer.
    5. Information dissemination (March 2006): Analysis reports and information from selected meetings will be made available via the web.
