Comparative Studies of NGOs among China, Kazhakstan, Mongolia and Vietnam

The following activities are scheduled for this final year of the project.
  1. Practitioners Conference:
    1. 4th Practitioners Conference: (May 2005): Two people from each country will participate in the conference with the aim of sharing country reports and planning for country meetings.
    2. 5th Practitioners Conference (February 2002): One person from each country will participate to update each other on progress of the project
  2. Country Meetings/Reports (Sep. to Dec. 2005):
    The four target countries will each hold country meetings in order to share the results of the research conducted over the last two years and receive feedback from various people/organizations (government, international organizations, NGOs, other professionals) involved in the project. Based on the meetings and feedback, each country will prepare a country report on government/NPO policy dialogue by February 2006.

  3. Regional report (March 2006):
    The program officer will prepare a regional report based on country meetings and reports.
