Program/Project Evaluation: A View from the Other Side

The following activities will be carried out in this final year of the project.
  1. Discussion on the outline of the guidebook (April to July 2004)
    The people that have been actively involved in this project over the past two years (steering committee members etc.) will discuss the framework and content of the evaluation guidebook is being compiled. The group will also discuss ways of effectively disseminating the evaluation methodology and proposals outlined in the guidebook to the various stakeholders such as donor agencies, NGOs, and evaluators.

  2. Compilation of a Guidebook (August to December 2004)
    The project will compile an evaluation guidebook that takes into consideration the viewpoint of evaluees and beneficiaries following discussions among project participants. The guidebook will include basic concepts, evaluation methods, and implementation methods, with the hopes that evaluation results will benefit evaluees and lead to the improvement of projects. Moreover, in compiling the guidebook, participants will bear in mind that various stakeholders in and outside the Philippines will be making use of it.

  3. Workshop (January to February 2005)
    Workshops will be held in Manila and Davao with the aim of disseminating/sharing the results of the project. Approximately 100 people from various sectors are expected to participate in the workshops. Methods of disseminating and following up on the results of the project will be discusses at the workshops.
