The committee established in phase I of the project will work with relevant organizations (ADB, WSIS, UNDP etc.) to promote IT development policy aimed at making improvements in distance medical care/education, disaster prevention, and social welfare

  2. Report/workshop:
    The draft report that was complied during phase one of the project will be revised, published and distributed to relevant organizations. The content of the report will be announced sometime in June 2004. Moreover, a workshop will be held in collaboration with relevant organizations with the aim of promoting the proposals drafted in Phase I of the project.

    Date: October 2004 Venue: Fiji Participants: UNDP,USP.FINTEL,PIF,SPC etc.

  3. The project will collection information and conduct surveys/research on activities of organizations such as WSIS with the aim of putting the proposals drafted in phase I of the project into practice. Fact-finding trip to Fiji and Samoa: October 2004

  4. Report: Workshop/survey reports will be compiled.
