Training Program for PLA Staff in charge of Japan-China Security Exchange

The grant project will invite Chinese practitioners working in the security field to participate in a training program comprising language study and training in international issues and defense strategies. The self-operated project will provide support to selected participants of the abovementioned program so that they can obtain a masters degree at Beijing University following their return to China.

Program Details:

  1. Japanese language training (Japanese language course at a Japanese university)
    Curriculum: Level 8 (Listening, reading comprehension, oral/written expression, grammar, Japanese studies)

  2. International politics, defense strategies etc.

  3. Fact-finding tour in Japan
    Participants will visit various sites in the regions during their stay in Japan.

  4. Following completion of the training program in Japan, participants will be asked to submit a report (of over 8000 characters) based on what they learned in the program on such topics as the Japan-China security issue.
