On the occasion of visiting Japan of the Georgian delegation including Dr. Alexander Rondeli, President of the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, and ambassador David Dondua, Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, The Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF) and the Middle East Research Institute of Japan will host a seminar - gPower Game of Natural Resources between Russia and South Caucasus.h The seminar will address such issues as Georgian-Russian relations, problems facing modern Georgia, etc. All interested are welcome to participate.

Over the past year, the SPF and European Policy Centre (EPC) have joined forces to organize a lecture series entitled Asian Voices in Europe, with a string of high-profile speakers debating a wide range of issues including the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), India's economy, Japan's tense relations with North Korea and China, and the Korean Peninsulafs nuclear crisis.
